Yasmin Olivares

Posted in: Juanfe´s stories

My name is Yasmin. I am writing to you in my last days before I graduated as a technician in cuisine. The word happiness is not enough to express the emotion that I feel to be almost graduating from Juanfe Foundation. In my years at the Foundation I have learned the tools I needed to build a decent and stable future for my son David Yosuar and me. I’ve learned to take my work, studies and family with responsibility, commitment and honesty. Being a mother and especially a teenage mother is complicated, because when the baby is born you do not know how to act, how to feed him, especially when you’re still learning a lot about yourself. That is why when my son entered the Infant Development Center my role as mother changed 360°. In the Infant Development Center I learned that for my child to have a healthy physical and emotional development is necessary to ensure his health, nutrition and psycho affective development.

We invite you to help us so that stories like Yasmin’s continue to happen, DONATE!
