Transform Without Borders is a social transformation initiative led by Fundación Juanfe in partnership with the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. Over the past two years, it has created real opportunities for inclusion, autonomy, and progress for 728 women—including refugees, Venezuelan migrants, and Colombian returnees—in the cities of Cartagena and Medellín.
Through a comprehensive intervention model, the program strengthened the personal and professional skills of women aged 22 to 44, delivering a structured 560-hour training process divided into four key components:
Psychosocial support
Soft skills workshops
Technical and vocational training
Job readiness workshops
Additionally, participants benefited from cross-cutting support activities such as medical brigades, a professional wardrobe initiative, and job fairs—fostering their overall well-being and preparing them for productive livelihoods.
Impact achieved:
88% of participants strengthened their emotional stability
100% received training in life skills and job skills
1,185 family members engaged in activities to strengthen bonds
200 women entered formal employment, increasing their income by 80%
22% of women own a business, and 72% of them strengthened it after the program
746 people received healthcare services (12 medical specialties and 2,000 medical attentions)
300 companies were engaged and sensitized to promote employability
Today, Transform Without Borders stands as a legacy of resilience, empowerment, and restored dignity—showcasing the transformative power of women when provided with the right conditions to envision and achieve a better future.
